Backing the Next Generation of Entertainment Talent
The London Cabaret Club is proud to be a patron partner of The King’s Trust as we launch a new, free, three-year talent initiative (2026–2028) designed to help young people overcome financial and access barriers to entering the entertainment industry.
Everyone selected in our programme will feature in our latest show London Never Sleeps – and we’re on the lookout to award a professional contract for our next new production, La Vita è Dolce!
If you haven’t had the chance to access professional training, classes or opportunities, we want to hear from you.
Our founders, Evelina Girling and Doni Fierro, alongside TV star and King’s Trust Ambassador Tasha Ghouri, will mentor a group in early March to nurture emerging talent, build confidence, and create genuine routes into professional performance.
What the Programme Offers
- Hands-on training in performance, cabaret, dance and stagecraft
- Mentorship from TV star and King’s Trust Ambassador Tasha Ghouri
- Guidance and support from The London Cabaret Club’s world-class creative team
- The chance to perform in our 10th-anniversary gala show, London Never Sleeps, at the Bloomsbury Ballroom
- Industry exposure, with one standout talent offered a professional contract in our 2026 production, La Vita è Dolce!
- Continued support from The London Cabaret Club and The King’s Trust after the programme ends
Why We’re Doing This
Many families are priced out of arts and drama clubs, and young people are losing access to creative subjects in schools, and talented performers are missing opportunities simply because of cost, pressure or lack of support. We believe every young person deserves a fair chance to pursue their passion — no matter their background or circumstances.
Message from Tasha Ghouri
Tasha Ghouri, TV Star and The King’s Trust Ambassador, said: “Having faced significant challenges accessing a highly competitive and demanding industry, I know how many obstacles young people encounter when trying to break into entertainment. Mounting costs on families shouldn’t mean kids have to miss out on opportunities to pursue their passions. Parents have enough to deal with, without worrying about being able to afford to give their children the access to clubs and activities they know they will enjoy. I’m thrilled to be part of a programme that aims to help address these barriers and create real opportunities for young talent”.
