The company has, until now, operated a series of high-profile and hugely successful pop-up shows encompassing fine dining, dance and musical performances featuring stars including Alexandra Burke, Brian McFadden, Dionne Bromfield and Eliza Doolittle.  The million pound acquisition ensures a permanent home for The London Cabaret Club shows, while also securing the future for one of the capital’s leading hospitality and private event venues. Outside of the cabaret shows and private hires, the new venue will operate a two-tier membership programme, with ‘after hours’ members invited to party in the venue’s Rose Bar, while a separate, even more exclusive private members club will provide facilities for guests to enjoy their own facilities during both the daytime and evening.  Located beneath Victoria House, the Art Deco Bloomsbury Ballroom has enjoyed a long history as one of the capital’s most iconic large venues since it opened in the 1920s, hosting gigs by stars including Kylie, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Florence and the Machine and John Legend.  Tom Hanks, Pharrell Williams, Tom Ford, Salman Rushdie, Jensen Button and many more high-profile celebrities have enjoyed nights in the beautiful 700 capacity sprung-floored ballroom that is set to be given a new lease of life under its  owners. And it has risen to become a sought-after filming and photography location, with popular shows including Mr Selfridge and The Apprentice using the ballroom’s beautiful interiors.  The Bloomsbury Ballroom deal comes on the back of an incredible start to 2015 for The London Cabaret Club, who performed and sponsored the inaugural BAFTA Give Something Back gala in front of stars including Joanna Lumley, Andy Serkis, Emilia Fox, Tom Hiddlestone and Olivia Coleman.  That was closely followed by The London Cabaret Club’s sponsorship of the official Sony Music BRIT Awards afterparty.  The London Cabaret Club owner, Evelina Girling, said: “As a company, we have always been huge supporters of British talent and the long, glorious history this country has as a leader in performance and art.  “The Bloomsbury Ballroom has played an iconic role in London’s nightlife, and we are delighted to be able to bring the venue back to its former glory and deliver a stunning new destination for the capital’s performers and clientele.”  The London Cabaret Club will launch its regular nights with a Christmas Show in November 2015, and a new Exquisite show, utilising cutting edge, innovative technology alongside London Cabaret Club’s renowned dancers, following in 2016 - a year that will also see the launch of the private members club.
